EASTER MESSAGE: DR UDEH, ENUGU ATTORNEY GENERAL URGES ALL TO LIFT ENUGU’S “INNOVATIVE” GOVERNOR, MBAH IN PRAYERS
Enugu- The Enugu State Attorney General/ Commissioner for Justice, Dr Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh has urged everyone to lift Enugu’s “innovative” Governor, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, in prayers, as part of their spiritual duty during Easter.
This was contained in an Easter Message captioned – Good Friday: Call for Reflection and Commitment to God and Humanity, which he issued today, Good Friday, 29th March, 2024.
It reads in full:
“Beloved brothers and sisters, as we observe Good Friday today and look forward to celebrating Easter, I extend warm greetings of peace and love to us all.
Good Friday holds profound significance in our faith, as it commemorates the ultimate sacrifice made by Jesus Christ for our redemption and salvation. It is a time for deep reflection on the importance of compassionate and sacrificial living to reflect the incredible love that God has shown us through His Son. Jesus Christ, through His selfless sacrifice on the cross, taught us the blessedness of giving and serving others.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13). As we are about to celebrate Easter, let us reflect on the magnitude of Christ’s sacrifice and strive to emulate His love and compassion in our daily lives. Let us continue to walk in the path of peace and justice, spreading love, kindness, and forgiveness wherever we go.
It is also important to be mindful of our spiritual duty as a people to pray for our leaders.
In particular, let us lift our voices in prayer for our dear leader and innovative Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, that God may continue to grant him wisdom, courage, and divine guidance, as he leads our beloved State with vision, integrity, and diligence.
Finally, I pray that as we celebrate this Easter season, may it bring us abundant blessings, happiness, and peace.
